Sunday Morning Family Church
Our Sunday morning worship is split in to two parts. Part 1 is a complete all age worship service in which children, young people adults are engaged together in prayer, singing, thinking and reading the bible for around half an hour. Part 2 is a further time of worship in which the children split in to groups to pursue more age specific activities and the adults stay in the main church room. While we hope that people will be able to stay for Part 2, Part 1 is designed in such a way that it can be used as a whole service by those that have to rush off to other things, or anyone who wants a shorter church service, or a taster of church!
During Part 2 the children are split in to four age groups:
- Crèche: for preschoolers
- Beginners: 4-6 years old
- Juniors: 7-10 years old
- Seniors: 11-16 years old
Jubilate
Jubilate is a church choir for children aged 6 and above. We meet on Friday evenings during term time and help lead church regularly by singing a song in a morning service and in other special events. New members are always welcome. For more information call 0117 9621731
Fun Days
Occasionally we host a fun day for children from the local area for more details. It is a day of games, crafts, stories, songs, food and fun as we explore with children (school years: Reception – Year 6) different aspects of our God and His love for us.
See the Events area or the What’s On page for more details if there is an up coming Fun Day.
Uniformed Organisations
We host or sponsor 8 uniformed groups, some of which serve children. For details of Brownies, Guides, Beavers, cubs and Scouts see our Uniformed Organisations page.
