Happy Days memory cafe

'Happy Days'! In the light of updated government advice, all groups have now been cancelled until further notice.

Some news! Bristol Dementia Action Alliance (BDAA) Celebrates its’ 7th Birthday.

It was on the 9th July 2013 that a public meeting was held at Westbury Baptist Church asking the question “Is Bristol a Dementia Friendly City”?

As a result of that meeting, BDAA was launched.

Since the launch, Westbury has provided tremendous support to the charity and also the joint run Happy Days Memory Café (which will celebrate its 5th birthday in November).

During lockdown, Happy Days has run a teleconferencing session on Fridays at 2.00. and also a pom-pom dancing session over Facebook.

Our BDAA birthday celebrations will be postponed until our AGM in September (Lockdown easing permitting), but the trustees and anyone who would like to join us, are having a virtual celebration on Friday 10th July over Zoom when we have invited Michael Loader to run a short story-telling session.

Anyone can attend and celebrate with us, and if you would like to be there, can you please ask Sam on office@bdaa.org/uk for the link please.

(This is for security and GDPR reasons).

More details can be found on www.bdaa.org.uk

Hope to “see” you on the 10th and thanks again for all your support and encouragement.
