Living Prayerfully

At Westbury-on-Trym Baptist Church prayer takes place in a variety of settings from Sunday services, to prayer groups and in meetings.

There are several opportunities for praying in groups within the community.  A regular Prayer Group meets every two weeks on a Monday evening,  intenteded as a time for quiet reflection.  Our Minister, James, and the Deacons lead a prayer meeting every other Wednesday. Finally each Sunday two people will be available to pray with anyone who would like to come. 

Monday Prayer:  ‘A Breathing Space’ 

Monday Prayer Group:

A group meets to pray on Monday evenings, usually every two weeks, and we gather in the Prayer Room at 7pm.

Our prayer time usually lasts about half an hour.  We often begin with a psalm, then pray for the world, the church and anything on our hearts, always being thankful for God’s goodness to us.  There is no need to say anything unless you want to;  just being there is enough of a prayer in itself.

• 14th December
